Hope Centre (Singapore) is once again awarded the status of an Institution of a Public Character (IPC) by the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth for the second year!
This Easter, 20 volunteers from Sembcorp Industries Ltd threw a Easter “EGG-travaganza” for 18 of our children and their parents.
Project Sparkle is our annual initiative to bless the residents of our community by helping them to clean up their rental flats. 2018 marks our 7th year running this initiative. This year, we had 3200 volunteers of all ages, from all over Singapore, gather together to join us in this meaningful cause.
Who would forsake lunch for ice-cream? …Our seniors!
Tuition with Love for the year of 2017 came to a close on 22 October 2017. In all, we helped 130 children both in the Kampong Glam and Tampines North region. We would not have been able to impact so many lives without the help of our wonderful volunteers! To show our deepest appreciation for them, we threw a Halloween themed Carnival for both our volunteers and children. We had a fun day of crafting, games and food!
Study tables are an essential aspect of a student’s academic career. Having a study table and a space meant solely for studying and learning helps the student to channel his/her focus on his/her work. With this in mind, we partnered with Wee Hur Holdings Ltd to bless 11 of our students with a set of study table and chair.
Hope Centre’s goal is simply to touch more lives through our programmes. Over the years, more than 1272 lives were directly impacted because of many volunteers who gave their time, and many generous donors contribute their resources for the cause. There are many more lives out there to be transformed and it is through giving that we may reach out to everyone possible.
