    This undertaking is made in consideration of your volunteer role at Hope Centre Singapore.

    You may receive our confidential information (including, without limitation, information relating to our staff, volunteers, visitors, participants of our activities and events, personal data as defined in the Personal Data Protection Act (“PDPA”), any of our confidential information concerning our organisation, business, finances, accounts, transactions, activities, events, programmes, affairs, dealings or budgets).
    You agree to use our confidential information only to carry out the purposes contemplated under your volunteer role, and not to disclose such information to a third party without our prior written consent either during or after your volunteer with us, unless such information:

    (i) at the time of such disclosure or use, is already in the public domain through no acts or omissions of yours;
    (ii) is already known to you on a non-confidential basis prior to disclosure by or on behalf of us of the same pursuant to this Agreement;
    (iii) has been lawfully disclosed to you by a third party who is not under an obligation of confidentiality with respect to such information; or
    (iv) is required to be disclosed by you pursuant to any applicable law, court order or the rules, regulations or direction of any government, statutory or regulatory authorities, provided that you shall first consult, unless such consultation is prohibited by law, with us as regards the substance and form of such disclosure prior to making the same.

    You agree at all times to treat all personal data as defined in the PDPA in accordance with the requirement of the PDPA and our PDPA Policy for the time being in force and you agree not to do or omit to do anything which may cause us to be in breach of the PDPA.

    You agree, upon termination or expiry of this Agreement, to return or destroy at our request, all our confidential information, howsoever compiled, recorded and/or stored in any format, including but not limited to electronic, magnetic or written. Upon the destruction of the said confidential information, you shall certify to us in writing such destruction. This clause shall survive the termination or expiry of this Agreement.

    I also consent to the reproduction and publication of any pictures taken of my child/ward at any programmes by Hope Centre (S). I understand that I can withdraw my consent at any time to the reproduction and publication of pictures of my child/ward and can contact office@hopecentre.org.sg to withdraw my consent.
