Home with Love.

With the current COVID-19 outbreak in Singapore, the homeless are faced with challenges to seek for shelter during circuit breaker. Home with Love is an initiative to help shelter the homeless. We seek to give hope to the homeless by opening up our doors to warmly welcome them home. We also partnered closely with the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) to ensure our centre space makes for suitable accommodation for our guests who need a place to stay over.

Mr A, one of our beneficiary shared, “I just need a place, temporarily only until the virus’ gone! I still need to work, I am a single guy, I need to work to earn for a living. I believe you know, right now, not just me, there is a lot more (homeless people) outside.”

Yes, there are still a lot more people out there and Hope Centre is grateful to receive overwhelming referrals to house these individuals and families. Hope Centre hopes to inspire Singaporeans to respond to a call-to-action to give their resources to help these people!

Makan with Love.

Hope Centre will be delivering lunch and dinner to (1) seniors who are living alone, (2) seniors without family support and (3) students on meal vouchers, in this COVID-19 season!

As the numbers climb for those infected with the novel coronavirus, the dangers rise for vulnerable populations. Makan with Love aims to encourage the seniors to stay home as much as possible and reduce their exposure to crowds by meeting their daily needs. We also hopes to support families by providing meals to students who were previously receive meal subsidies in school.

Feel free to refer seniors or students whom you know who may require this service. You can also volunteer with us to deliver the meals or be our food sponsors!

Grocery with Love.

Hope Centre recognised that the circuit breaker has caused some inconvenience to many. To encourage seniors to stay home, and to assist those who have financial difficulty, we launched “Grocery with Love”!

Hope Centre will be purchasing groceries and daily necessities on a bi-weekly basis for seniors who are living alone or without family support and families with blue or orange CHAS card. We hope to be a blessing in this time of need to ensure that the seniors, the children and their families can continue to be supplied with what they need and keep healthy and strong in this period.

If you would like to sponsor a family, once off or monthly, please inform us and we will make the necessary arrangement. Together, you and I can make a difference for the community!
